Butterfly snack
Shelling sunflower pies,
sitting outside
in warm Sun.
Leaving some seeds
for the birds
and a squirrel.
Large white seeds
look like teeth.
I found couple
canine teeth.
The cat is protecting
his garden
from moles, chipmunk
and others.
Yesterday he ate
a little white butterfly.
First he caught it,
standing up,
between his front paws.
Then he ate it.
First he wasn't sure
if he likes it,
but then he ate it all.
Did his mom tell him
to eat
what he catches?
It is a food.
Wings, legs,
torso and eyes.
