Forteen cows
Skeletons of fourteen cows
are on the pasture.
They survived winter
and now are greedily
eating short grass.
Ribs covered with skin,
they are so thin.
One month of eating grass
and they will be able
to have calves
and produce milk.
It was long and hard winter.
Cows are feeding in grass.
